“Morning,” Nat said as she handed you a cup of coffee.
“Morning,” you grumbled back. “Where is everyone?”
The kitchen was surprisingly quiet for a Tuesday morning.
Nat shrugged. “Barnes and Rogers have been gone since before I got up, Parker and the Stark boy are in the lounge playing video games and I think Barton was escorting Tony to a press conference.”
You nodded. “Gotcha.”
You took a sip of coffee.
“So are you and Barnes a thing now?”
You snorted and choked on the hot liquid. After you finally caught your breath you looked at her and asked, “what are you talking about?”
She grinned. “I could have sworn I heard small footsteps heading into Barnes room last night around 11.”
You shook your head, “I don’t know anything about that.”
“So you’re telling me there’s absolutely nothing between you and Barnes?” Nat asked again.
“I swear.” You held your hand up and crossed your heart with the other.
Peter and Howie walked in and went to the fridge.
“What are we talking about?” Howie asked.
“Nothing-“
Nat cut you off. “Trying to figure out if Y/N and Barnes are hooking up.”
“Nat!” You looked at her shocked.
“What?” She grinned.
“Oh they’re totally doing it.” Howie said with a mouth full of banana.
You glared at him. “No one asked you, Howard.”
“Ooo, full name,” Peter chuckled, “You’re in trouble.”

Steve looked at the phone in his hand and then to Bucky. Nat had called and put the phone on speaker for them to hear her subtle interrogation of Y/N.
“Is it true?” he asked Bucky. “Are you and Y/N …”
Bucky smirked and licked his lips. “She’s telling the truth there’s nothing between us.”
Steve sighed in relief.
“Not even the sheets.” Bucky finished.

Steve cussed out Bucky so loud that Y/N heard him from the other room.
